Broad, deep, and transparent

Greenfields has disproportionately high corporate standards, yet retains interdisciplinary experience and flexibility.  As a company, we dedicate a substantial amount of time to doing due diligence, be it on legal and accounting frameworks through to shipping and aviation contracts.  As much of the work is done directly by senior personnel the Greenfields corporate experience is deep, as well as broad.  This breadth and depth allows the company to react and overcome rapidly, a case in point being the successful extraction of our Sherp ATVs from Kyiv as the city was actively being bombarded during the initial invasion of Ukraine. 

As an unlisted entity, Greenfields is relatively free to focus on delivering results. However, we voluntarily subject ourselves to annual financial audits as we consider it best practice. Few of our unlisted peers go to such effort and cost to ensure that the accounting records are impeccable.  This deliberate attention to detail has yielded benefits that had not been anticipated, and demonstrates how the investment in professionalism above and beyond the call, yields tangible benefits.

Greenfields also has a track record of social engagement with the people of Greenland. Where possible, the company engages and deals with the people of Greenland and Greenland-registered companies. Greenfields has been a continuous sponsor of the public mineral hunt for every year that it has been eligible, an action that is not matched by any other mineral company currently active in Greenland - we don’t just do good deeds, we put our money where our mouth is.

To date, we have focussed mainly on Greenland, where we have developed an extensive network and deep understanding of the regulatory and commercial framework. The breadth of our knowledge and transparency are factors in our ability to advance some of the most difficult-to-fund projects on the planet.  It is safe to say that when it comes to Greenland,  and possibly the Arctic, the company is one of the most diversely experienced private entities.
